The Resurg® Air Fluidized Therapy System is an integrated bed system that combines air fluidized therapy and auto-emersion therapy on a fully functional frame. The Resurg® Air Fluidized Therapy System is available in two surface options.  The areas that are particularly prone to pressure injuries are those that cover the bony prominences of the body. The Resurg® Air Fluidized Therapy System provides air fluidized therapy where the primary need arises.

In the Resurg® AFT surface option the lower body portion of the surface is air fluidized therapy and the upper portion of the surface is auto-emersion therapy.

In the Resurg® AFE surface option, air fluidized therapy is provided in the center section of the surface and immersion therapy is provided in the upper body and lower leg portions of the surface. In this surface option the knee gatches with head elevation, providing additional support for the thigh and minimizing patient movement towards the foot end of the bed.
